39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
Relationships take work and compromise....but not just on one side. Don't plan for the future or dwell on the past, focus on the present (this one is particularly hard for me). Love sucks. And sometimes it takes your old friends to remind you who you truly are.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
nothing really sums up the year but I can sum up the more recent parts of it...
"you used to talk to me, like I was the only one around
you used to lean on me, like the only other choice was falling down
you used to follow me, never really cared where we would go
fast or slow, to nowhere in particular
we used to have this figured out
we used to breathe without a doubt
when nights were clear, you were the first star that I'd see
we used to have this under control
we never thought, we used to know
at least there's you, and at least there's me
can we get this back, can we get this back
to how it used to be?"
"i remember thinking
i could go on forever only knowing i'd see you again
but i know the touch of you is so hard to remember
but like that touch i know no other...
do what you will, always
walk where you like, your steps
do as you please, i will back you up.
i remember thinking
sometimes we walk, sometimes we run away
but i know, no matter how fast we are running
somehow we keep up, we keep up with each other..."
