back at school
so i've been back at school for two weeks. winter break was amazing, particularly getting to see everyone and then anthony's visit. it was strange to have the two parts of my life merge-richmond and new jersey had been so separate up till now.
being back has had its ups and downs. rush week was crazy but i am now a part of alpha chi omega and i love it. on the other hand, i'm getting frustrated with people wanting to do nothing but drink and party on the weekends. honestly, i'll drink once in a while, but if you have to be drunk to have fun/can't come up with anything else to do, there's a problem. the axo girls reassure me that it's a freshman thing and next year people will chill out. classes are going decently, i suppose. love my international relations class. definitely picked the right major even if i don't know what i want to do with it.
anyway, gotta go do some homework and then going to anthony's house for dinner, then my first alpha chi meeting. tomorrow i start my new job at the academic skills center, but one of my sorority sisters is taking me out for ice cream afterwards to celebrate, haha. yayyy.
