I missed Kenflo/random guy, Stevenson/Cummo, and came in halfway through Evans/Imes. SO what I did see, was Rashad get clumsily chased around the Octagon, while tagging the much bigger Brad, turning him into a bloody pulp, and rocking him a few times. Don't quote me on this, but I think the UFC might be a little racist!!! I'm sure if the big, well-spoken, WHITE, "Hillbilly Heartthrob" would've rocked that ebonics speaking, BLACK, 205er, the referee may of been a little more eager to stop the fight. Whatever, the judge's decision went the right way, so I'm happy.
Diaz/Sanchez was one of the better grappling showcases in the UFC of recent memory, Sanchez was just too strong, well-skilled, and smart to let Diaz win the fight. Diaz may be the better fighter, but if he doesn't SHUT THE FUCK UP after he loses, his chances are going very far are slim to none. Diego showed some sick BJJ, and killer instinct. While all Diaz showed was some text-book defense, too bad defense isn't enough to win the fight. Save one flurry by Diaz, and a couple weak triangle attempts, I scored the all three rounds for The Nightmare. Okay by me!
The moral of the story! Another great night for the UFC, it sucks that 3/4 of the fights went to the decision, but sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles. The commercials got to be a bit excessive, but that's okay -- atleast I didn't have to pay 30 dollars. FREE MMA RULEZZZ!!!
