Clean Slate? almost.
Alright, so for those of you who don't know, I'm moving. our landlady decided she wants to sell the house we're renting and gives us until the end of august to leave. Fortunately we found a place that we really love not far from here and we've already signed the lease for it. We get to move in on August first, so we have a whole month of overlap to actually move everything from the old house to the new one, instead of that crazy one week shit like last time. (remember the madness, anyone?!)
but yeah. the new place is so completely better than the old place. it has one main level and then a finished basement, with space for a rec-room/den, an office, and two bedrooms. theres also a bathroom downstairs. so i get a basement bedroom that i really like. the yard is just awesome beyond all reason, and theres a big shed thing in the back yard thats actually climate controlled and has a loft style attic. it's a great place for art projects, music practice, writing, and just generally getting away from the chaos of the main house.
so yes, i suppose it did work for the best seeing as we got such an awesome house. now we just keep our fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong.
