i've seen people do this before.
so i'm writing 50 things about myself.
you might know some of these already (i am pretty boring).
[1] i will never throw out my favorite shirt, it's about 12 or 13 years old and it has a bunch of multi-colored turtles on it, and says "uniformity is boring" at the bottom.
[2] my birthday is july 23 1984 & therefore, i will be 21 this summer.
[3] i'm watching the oprah channel right now and apparently there is some very scandalous nighttime programming.
[4] elizabeth heath-heckman and myself are in constant competition over who owns the most lipglosses.
[5] the first time a boy ever asked me out on a date, we were in a haunted house.
[6] my all-time favorite band is ted leo and the pharmacists.
[7] i have a freckle on the back of one of my toes.
[8] i have made out with two girls, both in the same day.
[9] stop and shop pays me 8.25 an hour for slavery.
[10] the year i was fifteen was the best year of my life so far.
[11] i have left the united states twice, once for 8 hours and once for ten days (canada and england).
[12] i have been in the hospital twice, once for 4 hours and once for nine days (chopped off part of my finger in a door & had bacterial pneumonia).
[13] at my job, i sometimes think we are all a little too friendly with one another.
[14] i have a very good sense of smell and the way men smell is very important to me. i used to be "with" a guy who totally never bathed but something about the way he smelled drove me nuts (in a good way). i dated another guy who wore the most distinctive aftershave and i could pick it out in a room full of people. i love paying attention to that sort of thing.
[15] i hate washing jeans. i just wear them till they die.
[16] peanut butter and cheese nips are the foods that disgust me the most. additionally, i don't eat any nuts, fish, or meat really.
[17] i haven't seen my dad since i was 6. he lives in memphis with his wife, whose name i can't remember.
[18] the rest of my immediate family has lived in the same house for 18 years.
[19] when i was in high school i was in thirteen clubs. now that i'm in college i belong to one.
[20] i have no idea what i want to do with my life. i have no idea if i will even be in school next semester. i have no idea where i will be living one year from now.
[21] my mom has told me about things i will be getting when she dies (they are written in her will) and that scares the hell out of me.
[22] my favorite poet of all time is e.e. cummings. t.s. eliot is the closest second.

[25] i haven't taken a picture with my camera in months and that is very unsettling to me. also unsettling--i have not written in my actual diary since february.
[26] i used to see a therapist but i kept things from her.
[27] i have cheated and i have stolen.
[28] in my life i have been to three funerals--my grandmother's, great-grandmother's, and my cousin's.
[29] brown and green are my favorite colors.
[30] my feet are a size 11 women's and 9 men's.
[31] i am a good kisser.
[32] my car is a 96 ford contour with no cupholders. my old car was a 96 vw passat and i smashed it up. the same day i crashed my car, i skipped all of my classes except for wellness, and i got a haircut in my friend's kitchen.
[33] past halloween costumes have included: a hershey kiss, sally from 'the nightmare before christmas,' trinity from 'the matrix' (easy to pull off when you are skinny and have short hair and lots of black clothing, which i did at the time), a ballerina, and some slut from the 80's.
[34] my oldest friend is my neighbor john, and we have been friends for 16 years.
[35] my first best friend was named touly.
[36] if i could have any job on earth, i would be a photojournalist or a rock critic.
[37] the two movies i have seen the most times are '10 things i hate about you' and 'the royal tenenbaums.'
[38] the first man i had sex with was the first boy i ever kissed.
[39] i miss how my friends from high school used to get together and play capture the flag on the town green every night. even though we fought.
[40] i have had two jobs. i have attended two universities.
[41] my boyfriend & i met on myspace and we never tell anyone.
[42] on my tenth birthday it rained. on my twentieth birthday i was in the hospital.
[43] a year ago today i was seeing give up the ghost with my friends (i think?).
[44] i have a radio show called 'ticking timebomb!!' and it is on every friday from 3 to 5 pm (cough plug).
[45] sometimes i wear boxers instead of underwear.
[46] i drink tons of water, probably about a gallon a day. i don't know why.
[47] i used to play soccer and i used to be really really good at double dutch. i wish i still played a sport.
[48] the first alcohol i ever drank was beer, when i was three and my great-grandmother let me have some. the next was when i was 8 and accidentally had a jello shot at my neighbor's huge 4th-of-july party. i didn't drink again until i was 17.
[49] writing letters and using manual cameras is very important to me. i like for my most personal interactions to remain old school.
