ive heard a few people say that school will not be in session over winter break. someone please confirm this for me..?
if anyone knows where to find out the new schedule online, please let me know.
camping will go on as planned.

please check your e-mails and get back to me. i'm surveying you guys to get an idea of what kind of supplies we have and what we need. i'm also wondering who can drive and what kind of food to plan for. just a heads up that i will need someone to volunteer to put $28 on their credit card to save 1 site for 2 nights. if we get more than 8 ppl wanting to go (i think that is the case) than i will need someone with a credit card to save another site for 2 nights. every site we get is $14 a night.
this past weekend i went camping and paid a little less than $30... here's how it worked out.
1) my share of the site per night was $7. at flamingo it will be less than 5$.
2) my share of the food was $10. this covered 2 of every meal, supplies for the fires, plates, cups, plastic ware and ice. expect this price to be about the same.
3) we went kayaking for 2 hours. this was individual choice and we can do the same thing at flamingo if its what everyone wants. it was another $10 but no one will have to do this.
comparison:
if we all went out to dinner (ex. fridays) and a movie for 1 night -- it would be about $7 a ticket and at least $10 a meal. your weekend will be cheaper.
