Hannah is brilliant. She's a real positive asset to Hufflepuff and to Hogwarts as a whole. I'm sure you've all heard about SPOTWC by now. I think you should all join so I don't feel so dumb. And, er, Ginny deserves a pony!
Now that I've got that over with I can move on to other important things. Mum owled me this morning and told me that Dad has locked himself in his office again. I'm overjoyed that I'm not home right now, or else I'd have to put up with hearing him rambling away in there all day long. Work's gotten a bit stressful on him. Dad doesn't know when to take a break, no matter how much Mum gets after him.
The other night on patrol I caught a couple of first years in the Astronomy Tower! Can you believe that? They're starting young these days.
Speaking about my duties as a Prefect, be sure to remind me to not make any appointments on Tuesday or Wednesday nights, Hannah! There's something important for me to deal with and I can't miss being there to hear all about it.
