The secret and very important plan isn't working out too well, Hannah! I haven't found out anything! Everyone keeps glaring at me whenever they see me anymore. It's a bit upsetting, really. They shouldn't be glaring at their Prefect. It isn't very respectful and I have half a mind to just glare right back at them. Instil a bit of fear of ( Read more... )

So you are still alive. How unfortunate for the rest of us.

Of course I'm still alive! Why'd you think I wasn't? I hope you haven't been plotting anything against a PREFECT of another house. I suppose you really haven't had the time, unless you've been plotting in the Slytherin common room. I'll be watching you anyway, so don't think about starting anything!

Well, I won't actually be watching you. Wouldn't dream of doing such a thing, really. Just be concerned! Very, very concerned!

What? You've already PLOTTED against me? Ah ha! I've got you now, Bulstrode, and you've only got YOURSELF to blame!

Surely you have something useful to do... Far away from Mr MacMillan.

If you don't, I'm certain that I can come up with something. Understood?

Mr MacMillan, time-turners are not given to students like you because you'd work yourselves to death.

That's all.

So I don't get a time turner? I would use it only to get more sleep and to catch a meal that I might have missed. Nothing else!

But you do give them to students, right? What kind of students get them?

No. Just no. pomonasprout March 30 2004, 18:07:30 UTC
I do not give time-turners to students, ever.

If you're missing meals, I'd suggest that you work less. Yes, you did just hear those words from a professor. Work less. Your grades are better than fine. I don't want to see howlers from your family some morning because you've decided to overwork.

I'm only thinking of your best interests, you know.

That's all.

I am catching all of my meals because Hannah won't take no for an answer. I thought that a time turner might help in case I did miss a meal. I will respect your decision and try to fit everything into the small amount of time that I have to work with.

Would you happen to have a moment of free time? I'm having a few problems with my Herbology project, and I could use some direction.

What's the question? Students seem generally to need a bit of help focusing their projects... Are you stuck on something vague?

Er. Well, you see, I don't have a clue what I'm doing and I don't exactly have a project picked out. I don't know where to begin, and every time I find something interesting in a book I usually find some reason not to do it. I thought I had it all figured out but I didn't write any of it down and now I'm not quite sure what it is that I had figured out.

I'd prefer to continue this somewhere a bit less public, please, Professor Sprout.

That can be arranged. Come by the Greenhouse whenever you can.
