1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Visited Poland, learned to play acoustic guitar (kind of), read The Da Vinci Code (amongst others), self-published a tiny book.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I can't recall making any. Maybe I made one to improve my memory, I'd never know. The new one is to quite smoking, easy mate. Safe.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but a lady did give birth close to me. Worst train home ever.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, but it won't be long. It's sad that it's such a certainty (more than it usually is anyway) but I'll persevere.
5. What countries did you visit?
Londonstan and Polandshire.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Loads of smack? Materialistically just a webcam and mike setup. Maybe some sweet guitar skills?
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
...No dates. Memorable events: my entire London adventure, finding out that I had my new job, various anniversaries with Aleks, all of Poland, hearing that my Nonna has only 6 weeks to live..
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I'm pretty proud of the meagre achievement of my book.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not making enough time for people probably.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nowt major, just the usual fevers.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
The prettiest thing would be a Swarofski necklace. The thing I've wanted for a while was my brand new mp3 player. (I quite like my Stompa. Shh.)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Batman's. Chelsea Sully Sunberger the Third. Yer maw's.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
EVERY SINGLE PATRON OF AMF BOWLING. In reality, just a small subsection that ruined it for everyone. And by "it" I mean life.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Silliness. Well, flights to places and nice food which are not silliness. But there was a silly level that is perhaps unacceptable.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Visiting foreign land! The Kirkcaldy Market! Various albums, books and films coming out! A-Day! Other stuff! I am fairly excitable.

a) happier or sadder? Right now sadder but over the whole year a lot happier
b) thinner or fatter? Much the same
c) richer or poorer? Mmmmm, richer!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing, creating, bike riding, learning, listening, innovating.

Working at the bowl.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
What kind of ridiculous outdated question is this? I had a good, quiet, relaxing time at my folk's house. We played the Bullseye board game and voted on which courses to include in dinner.

Over and over again.
22. How many one-night stands?
Zero. Nothing IS sacred.
23. What was your favorite TV programme?
Peep Show or South Park. Nothing really new in my oeuvre here. Oh, except Gilmore Girls!
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not... really.
25. What was the best book you read?
The Time Traveler's Wife I think.

Up. Beautiful.
30. What did you do on your birthday?
Played basketball in Darnley Park with Matt and Tommy (after trying to avoid some radges who stole Matthew's hat) then playing the Wu Tang PlayStation game. There was also cake and beer if I recall.
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Less work, more fun.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Local boy done good.
33. What kept you sane?
The people I chose to surround me.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
This year? Uhh, no idea. It's not like I've put any shrines to anyone.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The MP's expenses scandal was a bit of a wake up call to me.

Belics.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Workmates from various places were spiffing.
