SPOLIERS AHOY!
I have to say, I quite enjoyed new Red Dwarf. I'm not sure how many people were clamouring for a Dwarf/Corrie crossover but overall I think they handled the story pretty well. It didn't make me laugh but the script had enough decent ideas and charisma to keep me interested. Red Dwarf can now join Animal Man, Lanark and The Dark Tower in the list of things where fictional characters meet their creators. I think the Dwarf version was more deft than Stephen King's stupidity anyway.
I feel it would be remiss of me not to share this:
I know it's 8 minutes long, but I found it pretty damn funny.
