As lanky as he may be, yes please to Adrien Brody!
I saw The Darjeeling Limited last night with Colin, Natalie, & Patrick. I honestly don't know what I was expecting from Anderson. I mean, I love The Royal Tenebaums (LOVE IT) and really like Rushmore & The Life Aquatic so I wasn't expecting anything too terrible. Darjeeling really pretty much blew me away though - the cast was great (Adrien Brody is so not my type but so incredibly hot anyway), the settings/color/costumes/etc were genius, and my favorite part was easily the dry humor here & there. I only had one problem with one of the scenes and it's transition to and from it but other than that, I loved it. I want to see it again because it's one of those movies where I'm sure you miss little things the first time around.
So apparently the black male cat love_adhesive & I were hoping to hear about didn't pan out. Or at least, we never heard back which is the same thing I guess. I have another appointment to meet a black female cat tonight and then if that doesn't work out, a tentative appointment to meet a part-siamese girl sometime this weekend. Having a new cat in the family is really exciting to me. I loved living in my old apartment because of Lucifer & Hyena (& Maggie & Monkey) because they would play with Ashes. And Cheryl is great but she's kinda old and not very active (plus she & Ashes haven't quite dealt with their dominance issues yet, heh) so a younger cat would be good.
Anyway, cross your fingers for us! ♥
