(no subject)
My brother's girlfriend just sent me a text message asking me if I knew where he was. We don't talk very often (she & I) so I know that she sent it because she hasn't been able to get ahold of him lately which means that he's avoiding her. It makes me sad. I want to tell her to leave him and be happy because she's not going to be if she stays. He's relapsing - doesn't go to school anymore, is back on drugs, & is looking for/talking with other women (with the motivation of sex). And honestly, I don't care what he does with his life (& don't necessarily think that the things he is doing are so horrible save for that fact that they are selfish and he is not thinking about the consequences they might have on the people he cares about) but his girlfriend is a good woman and I don't want her to be hurt. I wish it was my place to say something to her, assuming that she'd even listen/believe it.
