I try, so hard. I can't rise above it.

Well, I went to that Special Hell again. Life was dark, doom, and depressing for a few days.

But all is better now.

I wrote a plot for a story. It was about a hit man, who only accept jobs from suicidals - Rich Suicidals.

I guess I was trying to prove that money can't buy everything.

The story turned out to be a joke comedy. And then, I ran out of ways to kill people, nicely and cleanly. The funny thing is I didn't run out of reasons for people to be depressed, ennui, melancholy, or miserable.

And then, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

One thing I love about writing is that it expands my perspective. When I try to get inside the fictional character's head, my reasoning and my motive needs to comply with the character.

And sometimes, it is an angle I have not even considered before.

Isn't that just interesting?

...

Anyhoo, I think some of you missed me. So...here is 10 questions to entertain you.

10 questions of distraction.

If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
I work so that I can support my volunteering habits.

Get up early or sleep in?
I like them both.

When did you first start feeling old?
You can't feel old when your mentality is permanently at the age of 5.

Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
I wished I wasn't such a spoil brat to all my ex's.

Do you like the person that sits directly across from you at work?
I love both Pete and Trevor. They are, like, my 2 annoying little brothers. They travel out of town most of the year though.

Do you have a teddy bear?
My Teddy Bear is a former racehorse. I got Pooh Bear in the car, and a 3-feet plushy bear with no name on my bed.

Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
Grand Canyon National Park's public bathroom.

Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
The Secret Garden.

Do you go to church?
Churches, temples, ritual sites, shrines, you name it. I like the calmness of those spaces.

At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
I welcome the change, especially if it brings more stability.

ancora imparo, eurika, good day, nothing last forever
