Writing death fics is hard; I completely understand. But you handled them masterfully!

You killed my man. You know I hate that. *glares* But, to be fair, I suspected as much when I clicked on the link. And the media thinking Sherlock ordered the hit . . .ouch! Poor Sherlock! The description of the photo was powerful. *shudders* Good thing Mycroft had the foresight to have the chair and glass of water ready before he broke the news. Hoping that this is either a stand-alone, or that it's a trick and Lestrade turns up alive in the sequel.
