Dear City,
Thank you dearly for returning my Asch to me, even for a day. I truly appreciate the thought. Even you, too, are kind, are you not? I supposed you are not often thanked, either, so I must recognize the one small act of kindness.
Oh, I had such hopes when I realized that anyone could be pulled into the City. Yet, months passed, and I had not seen hide nor hair of Asch. Hope dwindled to mere daydreams. Just when I least expected it- you brought him to me. We talked of many things. I know he resembles Luke physically, but it was still rather pleasant to see him in person. They're different people, you know. Not at all the same, and I'd like to keep it that way. They're lovely as they are, separately.
I'd like to see him again. I suppose that's selfish of me, but it really was a joy. We hadn't the time to eat a lovely meal together or see the beach. He looked exactly the same as I remembered. He hadn't changed a bit.
I thank you once again, dear City. I am truly grateful.
