We're all Children of the Lord.
Maybe at one point or another, you've sung the song or at least heard it. Only recently, more so today, do I really realize how much that line can imply. Now we all know, God is our father. I think I, and many of us, have already grasped that. I wanna talk about being a child.
So what does it mean to be a child. Specifically a child of God?
We don't know best. It's so easy to think that we've got it all down. When I was young I figure I'd be just fine if I slept late and watched tv everyday. Thankfully, my parents set the rules. Things would've turned out so much different if I listened to myself and did as I pleased. Now, although I may be much older, and I may not wanna watch tv all day. I've come to realize again that, no matter what I think. I don't think I still would know what is best.
We grow and learn. and we never stop. There are two ways to grow. By teaching and By experience. Experience is a harder teacher, although more effective. Our Father steps back and lets us make our own choices. In hope that we learn by our experience. I believe though, that sooner or later, we'll realize that experience is not enough. We need more. We need teaching. And to those who listen, our Father has so much to teach us.
