Soon enough, Integra had finished... well, briefly. While Court hadn't completely finished, there was a small 'break' period, and now was as good of a time as ever to meet up with her vampiric servant. Why keep him up longer, when he could be sleeping?

Entering the small building, still wearing her white robes, she nonchalantly walked towards the back, knowing this would be where Alucard was, and sure enough, she had picked the right booth.

Sliding in across from him, she quietly ordered a hot tea, and then placed her hands neatly into her lap. "Coffee? You truly must be exhausted," she mused, knowing that the poor vampire was probably drained because of the sun.

Alucard is sipping on his warm cup of coffee. It was a cappuccino latte, light on the milk, but a little heavy in sugar.

"Not only." As if he's going to admit that the sun is his worst enemy. "I'll feel better when it becomes night." He stirred his coffee with a little spoon and offered her a little smile. "How is your meeting?"

"Of course. I suppose I should have allowed you your rest, but this is quite important, as I'm sure you know," she replied, nodding her thanks once her tea was brought to her. She merely added a bit of sugar and honey, and sipped it as is. She rather enjoyed a somewhat bitter taste, after all.

Tilting her head, she hummed. "So far, it has gone well. But it isn't my place to comment on politics. The only reason I was even summoned was to keep an eye out for anyone who may attempt to betray His Highness."

[OOC: Oops, meant to say, "If only coffee can keep me up." Sheesh.]

The caffeine starting kicking in and now Alucard is more awake and ever alert. The coffee really warms his cold body.

Continuing to smile. "For you, I will never rest until you are. Plus, the people are interesting during the daytime." Being around people is just refreshing and to be open to new sights and sounds, adds more to Alucard's experience.

"Hn, doesn't sound like a challenge then."

She can't exactly agree to that; the freaks come out at night, after all, and in her opinion, they are far more interesting. Then again, she understands where he's coming from; he dwells in the darkness, and it isn't often he comes out to 'play' during the day.

Leaning back in her seat and allowng herself to relax very briefly, she sighs. "Well, then at least one of us is enjoying themselves." Sipping at her tea, she closes her eyes for a moment. "It's more of a challenge than one would think. Which is why I have summoned you here so early."

The freaks are nothing to Alucard. They are small shrimps to him and he considered the job as work, but a work he enjoys playing with. A part of him knows she wanted a piece of action killing them all too, than going to boring meetings.

"Oooh?" Amusement laced his voice. The vampire has trouble taking anything seriously. "And why do you summon me early~?"

She places her cup back down onto the saucer and folds her hands in her lap, straightening once again. It's business time now, after all, and while he might not take this seriously, she does.

"I need you to keep an eye out on the locals. I can't be in two places at once, so while I watch over things during Council, I need you to watch for anything suspicious out here."

Since they're in quite a public place, he lowered his voice down to hushed tones. Because he was so tall, he needed to bow his head and bend his neck close to her ear.

Ah, so she's asking him to be an intelligence operator? He didn't mind. It would give him something to do and it would give him an opportunity to make use of his power and his skills.

"As you wish, my Master." He said. "Anything else that you would like me to do on the side?"

She lowered her voice a bit, too. Not that anyone was acting suspicious, but still, he had the right idea.

"No, just keep your eyes and ears open for any strange behaviours or rumors," she replied. "I don't have a good feeling, not after that boy showed up at the Church the other day."

Women always have the sharpest intuition and Integra's are usually sharp. It's come from her knowledge and studies of the occult. Tilting his head, "Which boy and what does he look like?"

"He would not give me a name, but he seemed to be attempting to gain information. He had blonde hair, and cat ears," she murmured, frowning. "He seemed pleasant enough, but something was extremely off about him."

Cats, hm? Well, they say cats and dogs are each other worst enemies, especially when it comes to territory. "I see. I'll be on a look-out for that boy."

"Please do, and remember to be as discrete as possible. The last thing we need is for Father Delacroix to know of your existance," she replied, sighing.

At that he chuckled, and there's a little laugh. Outside, the sun is setting and the light is becoming darker. "As you wish, my Master."

"Stay here until night has completely blanketed the land, however. You've had enough sunlight for one day... for now, I will take my leave and head back to Council."

Leaving a few coins on the table to pay for their drinks, she pulled the hood of her white robes over her head once more, and stood. "I will meet with you at home when you return."

Alucard just gave her a nod with acknowledgement and tipped his hat. "All right. See you at the manor." He rose from the booth.
