[Anybody within Sawa, but Mitsunari especially may hear Light literally running down the halls at about 2 AM. Mitsunari will ESPECIALLY hear when Light arrives at the door to his bedchamber and starts pounding on it]
My lord! Urgent news! The armies of Amestris are on the move!
We just received word from our scouts, so I would imagine no more than a few hours ago. They appear to be heading north, although I don't know what else is there besides Britain, and they have generally been friendly with Amestris.
[He looks somewhat relieved, but still concerned.]
That explains why I sensed nothing... but why would Amestris attack Britain? Britain is a backwater - no offense to Arturia, of course, but there's hardly anything there other than trees!
I wonder... perhaps he's not after Britain then. There are the beastmen, the fae and the elves who also dwell within the forest. Could one of those be his target?
[Mitsunari's expression hardens slightly. His mother was fae, and it's likely thanks to her that he's saddled with a power that only seems to bring disaster.]
Even if that's the case... we have few formal relations with the Fairy Courts.
[[He blinks, startled. Waka's prophecies are even harder to understand than his own prophetic visions, but they have a much better range. Mitsunari couldn't read Arturia's future if he tried.]
Anything that endangers the forests also endangers Britain's land and livelihood. It's clear that Amestris intends to provoke war... and not just a war with the fae, or even with Britain. There are factions within Amestris agitating for total war.
[He lowers his head, swearing softly under his breath.]
[Waka literally is incapable of being clear unless he wish to risk a crippling migraine much to his own chagrin]
If you wish I will head to Britain and get a lay of the situation. I will report my findings but perhaps you should be ready to move at a moment's notice.
Thank you, Waka. Your services are, as always, indispensable to this kingdom. Leave at once, and keep me updated through secure channels.
Yagami, I need you to arrange an immediate conference of Sawa's generals. We can't risk leaving Poennon undefended, but if Britain calls on us we can't refuse them aid, either. I'll speak to the Emperor about this...
[He sighs.]
But with Prince Arthas back in the capital, I hold less sway in the Imperial Court. We'll need to monitor the situation carefully.
[Light sighs and rubs his eyes. Oh well, sleep was for those who didn't have responsibilities]
My lord, not to tell you how to do your job but have you mentioned to him he's liable to get himself burned at the stake if he carries on like that? Anyway, the situation seems bad, but at least it's not dire. If Amestris were aiming those armies at us, we probably would not be able to hold.
We don't burn people at the stake in Sawa. It's uncivilized! Our citizens have better things to do with their torches and pitchforks than go hunting imaginary heretics.
...And if Amestris were to attack us, I would defend our citizens regardless of their beliefs. You told me before that Sawa was the Empire's shielf... well, we can't let ourselves believe that the hand that holds the shield is weaker than the hand that holds the sword.
They what!? When!? Where!?

[He turns, looking upwards as he felt that pricking behind his eyes. Suddenly he faces the group, seeming to shine]

Well, I guess that is confirmation of sorts. What would you have us do, my Lord?

I will leave immediately. I The Tao Master of Prophecy will shine light on this matter.
[And Waka exits, seeming to spring away, leaving the two men alone]
