New character settlement: Raiden from MGS2
Alrighty, so here's the deal. I'll be posting my app tomorrow, but there's a few things that need to be filled in! He's basically "pre-MGS2" since the whole ending twist hasn't happened yet. Hopefully that will come up in canon sometime though. :D
What I have established so far:
He was a child soldier recruited by Char during Zeon's war with Amestris. This was about when he was 6-years-old.
After a few years in the war, Raiden is put in a relief camp and taken to Sawa. He grows up, represses his memories. Sawa would sort of be his FOXHOUND/Forces XXI to train him to be a stealth agent. He only does training missions (possibly some kind of magical hologram ones if they have those?), however, and has never been sent on to an actual mission. His first real mission is supposed to be set up to basically turn him into the next Solid Snake/super soldier.
What's up in the air:
Since he'll be in Sawa, and since he's supposed to be very dextrous , I kind of figure him being a "stealth agent" would be...pretty much a ninja. It's not far off from canon either (especially later on). So I'd hope that would work alright in Sawa?
There's also an important plot point about his girlfriend being a spy. So it'd be nice if anybody would be willing to volunteer for that. They'd need to siphon information over to Char, but also eventually fall for Raiden if possible.
