General

Character Name: Oolong, or Mayland Long when among English-speaking humanoids
Species (human/alien/vampire/other?): Former dragon, currently stuck in fairly-human form
Extra-human/abnormal abilities, if any?: Enhanced strength and speed; heightened senses (physical senses, not ESP), resistance to pain, apparently some recuperative capabilities

Psychology

1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed? Yes, although telepaths may have mixed success at reading things depending on the nature of their telepathy and if they understand languages other than English? (I.e., if they can simply hear his thoughts but don't understand the language he is thinking in, tough luck; if they can actually understand the meaning of the thoughts, alrighty then.)

2. Is it okay for any of your character’s intense/distressing memories to be seen/heard/read in this situation? Yes

3. What kind of mind does your character have? Are they disturbed at all? Are their thoughts ordered or jumbled? Long's mind is usally calm, disciplined, and very very orderly, almost like a library. It's peppered with lots of quotes and observations to himself about situations.

Additionally, if it is brought to Long's attention that people in Taxon can read his mind, he may consciously begin using meditative discipline to attempt to block such reading (in other words, I am giving myself an IC loophole to make Long's thoughts unreadable if I so choose, down the road.)

4. Is it okay for your character’s emotions to be sensed? Yes

5. Does your character have a weak or strong mind? Are they susceptible to influence or hypnotism? He has a strong mind, and is not especially susceptible, no-- he would have better-than-human resistance to hypnotism. That doesn't mean it would be impossible, just harder.

6. Does your character have supernatural/mental fortification against mind-reading or telepathic communication? I would say that yes, when he is aware he is being probed and chooses to use it, he can use meditative techniques to clear his thoughts and leave nothing (or at least less) there for the psychic to find. However, he does not do this as a default, so unless he is made aware that someone is trying to probe his mind, he wouldn't have that defense up.

7. In the case of characters who are extra-sentient/psychic and can just 'know' things about people, can the muns of these characters use the powers of Wikipedia to get information about your character? Yes.

8. If so, is there anything that should absolutely never ever be brought up? No, although anything on WIki is actually taking place at a point later in this character's canon, so he will accordingly treat anything anybody tells him about his 'future' (mentioning Martha, for instance) with bemusement. If people want to have their characters reference some of Long's backstory, just ask me OOCly, I will HAPPILY babble ears off.

9. Anything that should absolutely be brought up? He's a really old former dragon? Not that anyone has to bring that up, but it's certainly the thing that would leap out most.

10. Will thoughts in the narration be up for grabs? If so, how will you indicate these? Italics/strikes/something else? Yes, excepting as mentioned above, if Long is consciously clearing his thoughts to avoid mind reading. If he is, I will make that very clear in narration. Specific thoughts will be italicized.

11. Does your character have any fears/phobias that you wouldn't mind being exploited? Ones that you'd like to NOT be exploited? He is not especially comfortable with water as an element, but that's mild discomfort/irritation, not any sort of true phobia. He does _not_ like being tricked or manipulated; he does _not_ like being chained up/imprisoned; he is somewhat uncomfortable with magic-- he's fine with it in the theoretical sense, but anytime it is practiced upon him it raises his hackles; he considers is unnatural. All of this is fair game.

Physiology

1. Is it okay for your character to be affected by chemical agents? Fear toxins, for example? Yes, although he may display some heightened resistance to them-- not immunity, but resistance.

2. Does your character have any unique biological difference that would affect their resistance to toxins/chemical substances? He's not strictly speaking human? He would have a low-level resistance to all sorts of poisons, etc-- again, not immunity, just that things that should logically fell a horse will take longer to work on him.

3. Does your character have any notable genetic/supernatural/biological difference that would make their blood in any way different to a regular baseline human's (that would make them taste different if they were fed on by a vampire, for example)? His blood would taste spicy. And hot. Very hot.

Physical

1. How okay are you with your character coming to physical harm? Fine with it

2. How okay are you with your character's home/possessions being targeted by bad guys? Fine with it

3. Can your character be impacted by telekinesis? Yes

4. With regard to vampires, would your character be willing to be a donor? Yes, but it would have to develop organically in game and he'd take some convincing

5. If no, then how about unwilling? Oh, it'd probably not end well for the vampire who would try and make him involuntarily donate to the cause.

6. With regard to shapeshifters, are you okay with having those with this power taking the shape of your character? Sure

7. If your character has any superhuman abilities, would you be okay with these being replicated by those who have the power to absorb/take on the powers of others? Those powers are fairly limited in scope, but yes, that's fine

8. In a physical confrontation, is it okay if characters who have the power to sense/foresee/predict movements use this to their advantage against your character? Yes.

9. Are you willing to participate in plots where your character will sustain damage outside of a fight, such as in situations with torture, environmental hazards, or accidents? Yes.

10. Is there anything about them that would stand out noticeably (things like scars, physical augmentations, illness, anomalies, etc.) if they were ever injured or otherwise examined by a doctor? Are any of these things noticeable to others without close inspection?

There are things that would stand out about Long that can be picked up just visually, but would also be noticed by a doctor, yes. First off is that for a man whose features are "Asian", he has unusually dark skin, better suited to the African continent than Asia, to the point he could be assumed to be 'black' from a distance. So it might throw some people when they get closer and notice he has epicanthic folds, etc. His eyes, aside from being "Asian", are brown but often appear amber/golden/yellow in sunlight or if he is angry. Sometimes, they glow in the dark (this is not voluntary and he is rarely aware when it is happening).

Long has abnormally long fingers- not to the point of actual deformity, but enough that people might well double-take upon noticing them, or feel that his handshakes are "odd". (He is self-conscious about this, and avoids handshaking whenever possible).

Things that would probably only be noticed in a medical inspection unless your character is especially prone to notice body temp: he runs hotter than a normal human should, with a standard body temperature probably in the 100-102 range.

Magics

1. Can your character be influenced and tempted by magical or supernatural means? Yes, and oh, does he hate it. He is probably more resistant to this than the average human, but definitely not immune.

2. If yes, will someone with the ability be able to find this out about them, and in what areas (think the seven deadly sins) can your character be tempted? Long craves knowledge above all else, and is seeking enlightenment, in the philosophical/Nirvana/Truth-with-capital-T sense. If someone did a sufficiently _convincing_ job of telling him they had the Secret, that is a temptable area. Or, you know, just dangle a book before him he's never seen before. He's also dreadfully vain and fairly arrogant.

3. Could your character be glamoured (a form of mind control employed by vampires to make humans compliant/alter their memories etc.)? Yes, but it would be more difficult than on the average human.

4. Can your character be effected by spells of any kind, and are there any specific types to which they would be immune? Yes he can be affected, no there is nothing he would be immune to.

5. Can your character's presence be sensed by characters with the power to read auras/pick up generalized vibes from people? Yes.

6. If yes, what kind of stand-out things about your character can be sensed? His aura would feel "hot" and very, very old. It would also probably not feel human, if the senser goes for such things.

7. With regard to characters that can sense danger/receive visions/predict general doom, are you okay with your character being the subject of any of this, if the occasion arises? Sure.

Privacy

1. Will your character change their name as it is shown on the map? If so, what will they change it to? If it shows up as Mayland Long when he arrives, that is what he will leave it at. If it shows up as Oolong, he will change it to Mayland

2. If they’re able, will they ever opt to hide their location on the map? He might, but only if he was doing some specific act where he felt he had to hide

3. If your character is from an earlier point in their canon than another member of your cast, what is and is not okay for your fellow castmate to spill the beans about regarding your character’s future? I doubt there will be any characters from Mayland's canon. :P But if there is, anything's fine, as long as it's understood he will react accordingly.

4. With regard to characters that like to snoop, can they find anything that's been publicly said by your character through the tablets? Yes.

5. How about privately? Consult me OOCly first.

6. Is there anything you'd especially like to be known about your character, for the purposes of amusement? Not really.

7. Anything you especially don't? Not really.

8 Do you like threadhopping (a character not already in a thread jumping in unexpectedly to reply to a comment), and are you okay with other people threadhopping in your threads and posts? That's fine if there's an IC reason the person would be looking at that thread, in that scene, etc.
