Good God I am a slacker
I haven't even written the rest of my DragonCon experience. I am sooooo much a slacker. Mainly, life has gotten in the way and I have been just trying to catch up with... everything. I miss my friends though and have really enjoyed reading up on everyone's LJ entries. I have all my pictures (168) from DragonCon downloaded and am going to be burning them to CD, so if you want one let me know email me at jennifer.napier@earthlink.net. This past weekend was a blast though! We went down to Macon and attended the Native American Celebration (apparently the term Pow Wow is not PC). It was a lot of fun, the dancers and costumes were amazing! I took some pictures, it was a fun day :). That evening before we headed back north to Atlanta, we this guy I met at DragonCon for dinner. His name is Kelly and he's an absolute sweetie whose in the AF over at Robbins AFB. Jeb liked him and said that he was cool and seemed really normal which is a huge compliment coming from him ;).
Work stinks, am tired of a lot of stuff going on...but I am thankful to have a job and it is a good job all in all. I am probably *not* going to post the rest of my Dragon Con memories until later in the week...suffice it to say that I had a blast, got really drunk two of the three nights, and managed to not come down with a bad case of Confluenza despite sharing a bottle of John's Romulan ale with a bizillion other people...next year I am going to have a bottle of my very own so Watch Out! ;) Blessings and snuzzles to all my friends call me call me call me...I get bored driving home from 5-6:30PM EST ;)
