Just something I need to get off my chest.

If any of you reading this is thinking about getting a tattoo on your chest and want it to have significance cause it's "over your heart" or "on the heart side of your body" then DO SOME DAMN RESEARCH.

Traditionally the heart was thought to be on the LEFT side of your body. This is why we say the Pledge of Allegiance with our RIGHT hand over our heart.

Truthfully the heart is actually in the middle of your chest. The left side of your heart works a little bit harder which makes it SEEM like it's on the left side of the body.

I'm so sick of seeing tattoos with explanations that say, "I wanted it over my heart" and the tattoo is on the RIGHT SIDE OF THEIR BODY.

I wanted my tattoo "close to my heart" as well so I did my goddamn homework and got it on the LEFT.
