Proposition 8
I am absolutely horrified that Proposition 8 has passed in California. You know, the one that calls for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage? Yeah. It fucking passed. In California of ALL places! I'm disgusted. What a terrible step back for equality and civil rights. I'm FURIOUS that a constitutional amendment is going to be put in place that is all about a religious belief. WTF happened to separation of church and state? This further solidifies my conviction to NEVER willingly set foot in the state of California.
