Dear lord. Connor has been cutting more molars for WEEKS now, and he is screechy and miserable and impossible pretty much 24 hours a day. And of course he won't freaking SLEEP. I want to die.

Work is meh. It's tax season. So I have to work like 6 days a week now, which sucks. Come on, April 15th.

I've come to a realization about our cloth diaper use. At first, I started using cloth because it was cuter and more fun. Then after a while I found myself kind of grossed out by the idea of paper and plastic chemical-laden disposable diapers and the sheer amount of them that go into landfills. And now, just recently, I've realized that my cloth diapering is helping our economy. Nearly everything I buy is handmade by women who run their own businesses, right here in the U.S. So by purchasing from them, I am supporting small independently owned American businesses, rather than giant corporations like Procter & Gamble, who make Pampers. I'm now branching out into buying more handmade clothing for Connor too, so that'll be even more of an impact. Sure, the stuff might cost a little more, but it's adorable and unique and well worth it. I'm going to make a conscious effort to purchase as much of his clothing and diapers from small businesses in the U.S. as I can now. So hey, maybe I started cloth diapering for shallow reasons, but at least it's led to this, right?

And finally:

THAT is a Saint Bernard puppy. OUR Saint Bernard puppy, to be exact. Chuck has been wanting one for a while, and I've been secretly contacting breeders trying to find one. Well, yesterday I finally heard back from someone who had available puppies, and was in the area. So we went to see them, and picked out that little guy. He'll be coming home with us in a week. This ought to be interesting. :)
