(no subject)
today, my boyfriend took me to my second baseball game!! we attended with his parents, who were sitting a few sections away, and his brother, who had club seats with a few of his friends. the Giants took on the Dodgers and beat them with a 5-3 victory! it was an intense game! joining in the chant of "beat LA" -- it was definitely fun. i experienced a historical homerun by the one and only barry bonds in the 8th inning--it being his 2nd homerun of the season and not to mention his 705th of his pro-baseball career, which i need to remind babe to get my "I've Been There" button. let's make it to the playoffs!!!
two games within a week! that's quite exciting... well for me it is. my first game was barry bonds' second game this season! so, those were quite exciting experiences. we were much closer on my second game in section 112--being right behind the first base--as apposed to my first game where we sat at secion 121, which were also pretty good seats. i think i'm addicted to their hot dogs tho... they were good, even when they're plain! well, either that or i'm just picking up babe's taste.
continuing on about my day ... after the game--which ended a little after 3--we walked towards fisherman's warf and went sight-seeing. we were hoping to pass pier 39, but it was in the other direction from the ballpark. we continued on and decided to go to the metrion. we got back on market and found our way to powell street and to the metrion. we bought our tickets for "the 40 year old virgin" and got something to eat at Mel's Drive In Diner. I got tried the Avocado Burger, which was muy yummy, and babe, as usual, got the "cheeseburger plain without the cheese, please." it seemed like he enjoyed it, so all good. the movie was hilariously-silly! haha. not to spoil it to whoever might read this, but i just wanna say that i am kinda proud of him for keeping his virginity that long though, even if he has had some chances. thumbs up to you, andy!
