Left And Leaving

A good percentage of you already know, but I'm leaving Tampa in May. I've been feeling restless for a while, so when an opportunity presented itself, I took it. That opportunity, through close friend Nikki (Miami Nikki), came in the form of a foray into the field of SEO - search engine optimization. Many factors came together to form this decision, enough to lure me to a town with which I was otherwise disenchanted, Miami. My long-term plans (which have become increasingly short-term) remain moving out to the west coast; we'll see where my new job takes me. For now I've already started working from home (no more Web Piston - hi, Jesse). I've made a ton of friends in Tampa and it wasn't easy to make this choice. I'll definitely be visiting every couple months, and hopefully, attract a few of you to visit on occasion. Maybe some will join me on that westward caravan... eventually.

In other news, if you haven't taken a peek at The Hood Internet yet, I strongly recommend it. I've been quite interested in mashups and remix artists the past year, and I enjoy these guys the most, mainly because they stack the hippest, most current indie shit with all varieties of hip hop and rap (the ultimate party recipe, I'd say).

Random note, if the Los Angeles Kings win tonight, the Lightning will claim the worst record in the NHL. This coming two days after trading away two of their top players for "mixed" returns. In summary, I'd rather watch the shitty Lightning than a 82-win Panthers team.
