Tonight I pulled into my driveway after work, dinner and ben & jerry's with Laura. It was kinda late. It had been a long day. I opened my car door and I looked out into the night sky and I saw stars for what seemed like the first time in weeks. For some reason I never really payed them much attention in the past few weeks. I picked out two. The first one I saw when I got out of the car and I picked out another one.. the first one I saw when I turned around to shut my car door. I made wishes on stars for the two most important individuals in my life.
I made a wish for the love of my life. I already made a wish for him at 11:11 but this wish was one that I make only on stars. Watch the stars, they're ours
Second, I made a wish for my Laura. Starting a relationship is scary and obvs never easy. So I made a wish for her. The same wish that I wish for my own little sister. So Laur, I know you read this occasionally so heres something for you to live by from me:
Life's too short to be anything but happy.
Live like you were dying.
Love like you're not guarenteed tomorrow.
Don't sing your "shoulda coulda woulda's".
"Wear it, it'll make you brave"
When you lay down at night, dont regret what you didn't do, be proud of what you did do.
The scariest things in life are usually the ones worth doing.
What you want is always worth fighting for.
Its oh kay to be self centered once in a while.
Think for you, not for them.
Lastly, "If you need to crash, then crash and burn you're not alone".
