Doctor in Spite of Himself...opens April 19th
so this weekened is going to be rough. yesterday we toured early to two schools. the second was ghetto to the nth power! then went home long enough to shower and take a nap. off to first dress rehearsal which was pretty horrible. but then again what do you expect from a show that the standard costume includes five layers, one being a corset, and a lot of makeup! then came alpha psi inductions. (alpha psi is the theatre dept.'s honor society) all week i've had to wear and eyepatch and a tiger tail and when someone asks me about it they gave me something to recite...it was pretty fun. and last night was our last stage. they gave us the "all the world's a stage" speech to perform however they said with some prop we made. blindfolded us a lot. gave us names, it was all in all pretty fun. i had to go last, naturally. i had brought a peanut butter sandwich as my prop and i had to pretend i was the first redneck on the moon. i would get lost though and just take bigger bites and almost gagged...it was pretty funny. anyhoo...now i have a rehearsal for directing class and work a close-open, then second dress rehearsal tomorrow. ugh.
