ya know how people frequently use myspace bulletins as if they were blog entries and post things like "i just got back from sears and the girl at the service counter looked just like natalie portman and then i got a splinter from a wooden dildo" and the subject line is simply "omg"?
but there are those times when something so spectacular happens that one must brag, and the convenience of this widely circulated interweb communiqué makes it oh so tempting. specially when you go see kimya dawson at the smell and the shows great and she plays "the beer" AND THEN she asks her friend to come up to the lil stage to sing some songs. and the friend happens to be adam green. and so the songs consequently happen to be performed by the moldy peaches, for the first time in some notable amount of years. and kimya forgets half the lyrics and starts telling stories midsong. and then you think back to similar events, like doyle joining danzig to do a misfits set, or ghost mice doing operation: cliff clavin, which clearly don't compare and everything just feels blissful.
ps: i'm 99% sure laura is writing this same bulletin downstairs in her room right now.
