careful what you ask for
So, for over 4 years now I have constantly been asking my managers why they didn't lay me off (they have had layoffs at least yearly since I've been there). I mean my whole job is to bring up what they are doing that needs to be fixed, and they never want to hear what I have to report. Thus it never made sense why they kept me.
And then yesterday they didn't keep me.
So now I'm among the unemployed. Got the severance package and everything. wow.
I'm going to have a summer break for the first time in YEARS -woo hoo!!!
And what the hell am I going to do that doesn't require spending any money. humph :(
