The Jonas Brothers dropped two new songs. One of them is a dance track for the club and it's fun but nothing special. The other is this one! Definitely reminds me of one of the songs on their very first album called 6 minutes, except it's like there has been a major glow up. The song has got sweet, domestic established relationship vibes that make me happy.

Speaking of music, all of the remaining women were eliminated from the top 5 on The Voice with the exception of Toneisha during the instant save. Maybe a coincidence, but still sad. I was most disappointed that Allegra Miles won't be moving on! Her last performance was so powerful and made me cry. There's just something so great about hearing a song sung by a woman after only hearing it sung by a man (when it's not a love song). Hands down my favorite performance of the night.

Seeing The Voice performances go on even in these conditions really lifts my spirits. I love how the coaches have made themselves accessible and still seem to be putting in the time to connect with everyone across State lines. It's also a weird insight into American living rooms. There has already been commentary on the wide gap in American social classes, but the performers mostly seem to be solidly middle class. With the exception of maybe Toneisha Harris (hard to tell, but she's the only one whose backgrounds have been really plain). Speaking of which, Toneisha definitely deserved to move to the finals.
I was really rooting for Zan Fiskum - she always had this quirky thing going on, and picked such a wide variety of songs. I like her cover of "Never be the Same" better than the original.

And Megan Danielle! Her voice is so gritty, and she consistently picked great songs.
