Christmas....
.... is turning out to be expensive, even though I have got all the pressies brought last month.
Last sunday a lump came up behind my ear. The doc thought it was an infected lymph node and put me on antibiotics. Well by thursday I was feeling even worse so was put on a second antibiotic and sent to have an ultrasound, which is where the money comes in. It cost a whopping $230. OMG lucky my credit card could take it.
But on the positive side it did show the infection and it also showed a problem with the node in front of the ear. Now I have to have a needle put in the second node to get a sample of it and see what the abnormalty is.
The doctor has put in an urgent request at the hospital to get the procedure done ( he told me he pulled some strings with old work collegues) and hope fully I get in either next week or the week after.
If I have to go private it will cost $290 and I can't get in there until at least the 9th on Jan.
But on a brighter note, many thanks for the xmas cards from yvonnereid , clmiles and edom56 . They are brightening up my bookcase.
And thanks to yvonnereid and ashmedai for the lovely e-cards. They made me smile.
*hugs* to you all. They perked me up this week when I have been feeling miserable.
Also connorblond I have decided to rewatch BSG and everytime I see Apollo all I think about is Edward =)
