Obatala and Himerus

Sorry for all the weird review combinations - I keep on running out of space for tags, forgetting to paste in reviews, etc.

OBATALA - Obatala’s ofrenda is soft, white and pure: milk, coconut meat, shea butter and cool, refreshing water.
IN THE IMP: Dill and cream sauce?? (like gyro sauce) I think the aquatic + milk might be going weird on me.

ON SKIN: Clean, very neutral. Smells like an unscented lotion, or an aloe cream or something - it’s definitely the shea + water combination. Has a faint tart-sweetness to it - it’s a fruity kind of sweet, but definitely not coconut, as it’s cleanly juicy, so I’m not sure what to make of it. Maybe that’s what the water note does on my skin?

LATER: Morphing seems minimal, so same as above - a milky-planty lotion scent. Very short wearlength, low throw. I never got any coconut that I could tell.

HIMERUS - A passion-rousing blend of juniper, sandalwood, rosewood, red musk, orchid, bergamot and lilac.
Hot, dry, woody, masculine, with astringent cleanness from the juniper. Sandalwood, rosewood, and juniper are particularly noticeable to me, and I’m sure the red musk was underlying them, I just didn’t pick up on it in particular. I didn’t detect any lilac. Very red/dark orange in feel.
