Depraved

BPAL description: A salacious, lecherous, leering scent - dirty and dark, slapped with a wet sweetness. Earthy black patchouli swelling with apricot.

In the bottle: Medium golden brown oil, somewhat viscous. Extremely dark, dirty, soil-like, rooty patchouli - the kind I do not like - over somewhat faint, syrupy-sweet, overripe apricot. Fits the concept perfectly, but not my tastes.

Cathedral

BPAL description: Venerable and solemn: the scent of incense smoke wafting through an ancient church. A true ecclesiatical blend of pure resins.

In the bottle: Light gold-yellow oil. Very woody with incense and resins, just as described. Dry, dusty. Cedar, rosewood, patchouli. Maybe a hint of sweet frankincense.

Svadhinaopatika

BPAL description: In bliss, she basks in the blessings of the God of Love: golden amber, oude, red sandalwood, massoia bark, honey, and currant.

In the bottle: Pale yellow oil. Woody, warm, soft, golden. Rather dry. Slightly sweet. Surprisingly unisex to masculine. Even a little spicy.
