Here's a couple of things requested by library_of_sex. Hope you don't mind that they're just PSDs, but I lost the written parts of the tutorials, and I'm too lazy to rewrite 'em.
They aren't exactly the same, 'cause I couldn't really remember how I did the icons the first time (now that I look at it the first one REALLY looks nothing like it), but it's the basic idea. My advice? Play around with different textures on soft light, overlay, screen ect.
