"You mean what HAS happened to you." the voice spoke. "What do you mean by that?" I said. Just then as I am gazing off I see the figure of a man appear. Not standing on the floor, but walking down the wall next to me as if the laws of gravity do not apply to him. "You are my child now." He said. "Did your mortal life not seem mundane and meaningless to you?" He asked. Surprised and reluctant to speak I said. "Well yes, but where am I? and what have you done to me?" "Let me introduce myself. My name is Archangel, and this is my home." He continued on. The man was about five foot eleven slender build and had a face as pale as the mother pearl. As he approached me my level of fear rose. "Do not fear my child." he said. "I am what you think I am, as you will soon be too." A VAMPIRE! I thought. "Yes!" The Archangel said. "But not the type you are thinking of. I am what you would call neutral. We are not bothered by the nuisances of other vampires, so your worries as a vampire are limited to mostly vampire hunters." "But I am not a vampire, I am mearly a mortal." I said hesitantly. "Oh contra-ir." Archangel laughed. "As we speak your body is slowly dieing, remember back in the cavern, just before you passed out?" As I think back the blood and stomach cramps came to mind. "That was your body expelling your mortal blood." He replied. "I guess you could say that I saved your life, for if I was to have left you there, you would have died. I almost left you to die but your soul is strong and you would be of great use to me. So I brought you back here and fed your hunger, replacing your mortal blood with that of my own. Now it's just a matter of time until you notice your new powers." "I WILL NEVER SERVE YOU!" "If I am Immortal now I swear never to be your marionette I will be true to myself either as a mortal or as a killer, and if that means killing you I shall if need be!" I shouted angrily. Looking disgusted Archangel turned his back to me and began to walk away, and as he walked back down the hall he said, "Than lay here chained till you change your mind, or die of hunger HA! HA! HA! HA!"
