i got 99 problems
- My mom went through with her back surgery. There were no complications, and everything went as expected, unfortunately "as expected" means she's going to be in the hospital for about five days in excruciating pain. Me and my sister went to visit her last night (my dad's been there pretty much for 48 hours straight now) and it was hard to see her in so much pain and hooked up to all sorts of tubes and devices. But, it's not like she's dying or in some kind of coma, the operation was a success and she'll be in a lot of pain for a couple days but it's only going to get better from here. She'll be home on Monday, but pretty much confined to the bed/house for a month or two. I almost feel shitty knowing that I'll be going to college and basically leaving my Dad to take care of the rest of the family. He can handle it, though. In a way, it's made me become a little bit more responsible because I have to clean and cook and stop bullshitting my family.
- Oh and on the way home from the hospital, I got lost and ended up literally five miles from the SC/NC border. I have no sense of direction and it's really frustrating and I think it makes me less of a man.
- It's fucking hot out. I want Boone.
- I'm getting a new phone soon. I'm switching to Verizon because Sprint has no service in Boone. Which means now I can text my little heart out! The phone bill's going to me in my name so I guess I'm building up some credit or something.
- Aug 7 is my last day at work. I'm actually kind of sad about leaving. Yeah, I don't get paid shit, but I like being there and it's easy and flexible and enjoyable.
- Aug 10 is Dragonforce, I still can't wait.
