Good News
The youngest finally got the official letter from the pulmonologist that she does NOT have asthma. So she will be enlisting in the service and heading off to where ever. Hopefully, not Iraq or Afghanistan for at least a year. If she gets her way and goes to language school And I WILL reminder her to get the schooling in writing.) So far as I know any of those tongues will take a least a year of schooling.
The eldest is working and is finally (Sorry had to scratch the kitten's chin) working seriously on getting moved out and getting her drivers license (soon) with a target of next February (moving.)
The middle one is at least learning to drive now. Still pushing her to get a job or go to school.
They told me at work yesterday that the transfer between departments is probably going to go through (unless my current management decides they can't live without me.. In which case I want a raise.)
It also is looking good for additional training.
The front room and hallway are being re-plastered so I can start painting them soon.
The middle one is going to wash the walls in my room next week. So when the other room and hallway are done I can put the base coat/sealer on all of them at the same time. I'm guessing two 5 gallon pails of base for that.
The garage roof is also being re-done. I was leaking in places being at least 25 years old old and looking like the pits since the day I moved in.
Finally, we're having a yard sale in a week or so to see how much more clutter we can get out of my house. As I've been telling the girls to prepare them I may be selling the house in a couple of years.
