So I guess it was really smart of you to have stayed poor all your life. You probably planned it that way huh?

It seems like someone with Momus's level of education would have to plan it that way. He probably could have done something much more lucrative, but why? He seems pretty content with what he has.

Yes, to say Momus is poor isn't really accurate. He simply advocates the forsaking of riches, which reminds me of something someone else once preached, but Momus is not like him.

the filthy rich vs the planning poor anonymous March 5 2007, 15:50:27 UTC
It's impossible to stay/be poor in the western european world. even people who live on the streets have lots of possibilities to stay away from absolute poverty.

Staying poor can not be planned. To become rich is part of a plan. I know, because I had the opportunity and stayed away from it because it was all about compromising.

Now, if I had the ability I could make money again with the das kleine field recordings festival,
but my soul says no, every time i think of looking for possibilities to get financing. I am not a manager, and cannot act like that.
The result is that I will stay poor, leading a life since thirty years that hard working people have to wait for until they can retire.

greetings from the near east of berlin,

Don't choose Planet MySpace, brother! Good luck recording the wind there, but doesn't the wind compromise? Around rocks, around life? Without compromise, are you capturing a full picture of our times, or even your artistic concepts? If they are strong, like supple sails on a yacht, they will surely survive the seas of commercial exploitation! Bathe yourself clean in the Ganges of world judgement!
