So, ok, I didn't have the flu.

DOA Brigade is complete. By the time you read this, it may or may not be up on the site. Transferring a 50 meg file is a bitch AND I have class in a little bit... So it might not even make it. Probably won't. It's only at 10 percent right now.

Making an action flick was interesting. It was such a wide collaborative effort of so many talents. Everyone had a piece of it. Film is such a marriage of talents. It's a shame the "director" gets pinnacle credit on them, because so much more goes into the creative process. It's the D.P. making the shots beautiful... it's the special effects guy making those effects as kickass as they are. The director just... guides things, I guess. Knows the script and the intent inside and out so that it maintains a certain air of... coherence. 20 percent.

Action movies are interesting. Post-production is so essential, with Sound effects and Audio editing becoming this big element I had never really dealt so intensely with before. Picking the music was simply a blast. Local H is a killer band, and they embodied the right mood for the work.

Transfer Error. Bleh. I gotta get to class... it should be online soon. It is a fun movie. Plain and simple, it was a blast.

Thanks everybody who came over on Saturday... it was a great day despite the weather. I enjoy you people a lot.
