i overheard this boy talking down a girls major today,
he too once loved the idea of studying the sciences
but i guess to his findings "there is no money in that"
this girl soaked it up like a sponge while the boy told her
of how much computer scientists make and are needed.
i wanted to butt in by saying that i was glad that he has found that
money is more important to him than happiness. i realized then that
i know i love science and if i wanted to be less civil i would of defended
Science by giving him a fist to the jugular. fist full of words of course
stupid girl, for not defending her interests. for letting some lame guitar carrying (never heard him play it) musician wannabe convince her into agreeing with him, when he clearly settles for less.
even though sometimes i think he is not providing a secure future for himself,
i understand and admire micah's refusal to settle for less.since i met him he has strived for one thing continuously and has worked harder than anyone i know. that must be nice to know you are in it until the end , and in the end you win, win big!
