Trying to make my summer go out with a bang!
Ok, so I have like a week till I have to start going back to classes and my life turns into a never ending rush fest again (lets pray it is calmer this semester!), and I am trying to have a fun last week to remember, so far so good.
Last night after Campus Life, I went to Jordan's while he worked on Zack's car. I am a total mechanic!!! Well, ok not really, I was like the tool girl, every time they needed a tool (or towel) I got it. I also held the flashlight! They totally couldn't have done it without me. hehehe... so I would like to think. I did throw in a couple of helpful hints, I might add. Although some might have thought I would have been board, do have to say I actually had fun, but if you look at my upbringing, I used to hang out with my dad in the garage all the time. Not to mention running the action track at age 5 (it was totally my domain, no matter what others say, I was totally in charge!). Anyways, Jordan finally got finished at like 2:30 in the a.m.! The 3 of us then took a victory drive! It was quiet fun, I love driving fast (or being a passenger when someone is driving since that is actually what took place). It was a little chilly, but still fun. Then we went back to Jordan's and all went our separate ways, since we all needed to go to sleep!
Today I slept till noon, quiet needed since I was doing hardcore car work till the early morning. Then I went to Tumbleweed with my mom for lunch, it is actually nice to go back and see everyone! They are all so nice to me, makes me feel special! Then spent time in the word and talking to God, always nice! Then I made dinner for my father and I (just frozen pizza, nothing special). Guess what came next, if you guessed volleyball, you would be right!! After going without playing for 3 weeks, we finally played!! I love that game, still don't see how the pro sand volleyball people do it, there is only 2 of them, and I can't do anything unless I have like 3 other people on my team (my dreams of going pro are ended ~Big Sigh~). It was a lot of fun, I wanted to keep playing but some people have to go to school tomorrow, so the fun was ended earlier than I wanted it to. I just realized that I have a battle wound from playing volleyball! I am so excited, I am letting everyone know now, because it will probably be gone tomorrow (its how my life works). My thumb (where your finger print is located) is blackish, and I rubbed it to make sure it wasn't dirt and it didn't come off and it kind of hurt, not only that my thumb is swelling a bit. I took one for the team!!!
So, so far my last week of summer break is going good!!
