Ok so this weekend Cheri and I went to the Pro Life Music Fest! It was no Cornerstone, but it was still fun and wonderful, we defiantly think we are ready for Cornerstone next year! We had great fun playing volleyball, reading books (next to the pool and on a blanket listening to music), Listening and getting into the concert, meeting people, going on a hot chocolate run at 2:00 in the morning, and putting up with shallow guys. Great times were had! God was also challenging me all week and confirming some stuff to me, it was scary and comforting all at once. And there were some really great times of worship!!
Today my parents and I went to my Aunt Susan & Uncle Bob's house. Their horse just had a baby and we went to see it and to spend some time with them. It had been a long time since I had been there. It was my favorite childhood place (well that and the Action Track Drag strip), I used to cry when we left. I realized today that I really missed going there. Then we came home and went to a 4th of July party at the Keye's house (Rachel's grandparents house not hers). It was crazy, there were a whole bunch of people there, most of them I didn't know (they were friends of Judy and Dale), but it was a good time. Then when the guys shot off the fireworks, they blew something up and we were all scared that someone got hurt, but they were all fine, and I called it by saying they would come back all laughing about it when everyone back at the house were really scared. Justin came back today, it was really nice seeing him, I missed him more than I thought. I also realized how much I missed Rachel when I spent time hanging out with her family without her being there.

Just a random thought that I shared with a friend tonight, but sometimes I feel like my am living out a story from a book.

Tonight right before I did this I went to a website that had a whole bunch of things that talked about, you know when you are from "add your state/city" when, and I found some of these about Indiana interesting so I thought I would share them.

You know you are from Indiana when...

~ People still have Christmas decorations up at Easter. (this is true)

~ You drive for three hours and the scenery outside doesn't change. (hmmm... again true)

~ There's three feet of snow on the ground and school is still in session. (this used to drive me nuts in High school grrr)

~ While driving all you see is corn. (for the most part, yea)

~ There really is more than corn in Indiana. There's soybeans, too. ( I think I have actually said this before, or something similar)

~ When you plan an party and a Euchre game breaks out. (what is a party without Euchre, I mean really?)

~ You warsh your clothes and you think George Warshington was the first president. (I don't, but I have had many people think so, personally it drives me crazy!)

~ You're proud to be called a Hoosier, even if you don't know what one is. (Oh yea!!!)

~ You have no problem spelling or pronouncing "Terre Haute" (hehehe, I was cracking up! Yeah for Terre Haute!! This was defiantly my favorite!)

~ You say things like "catty-wumpus" and "kitty-corner". (I think I have said kitty-corner, and I know for sure my mom has said both, hehehe)

~ High school basketball game draws a bigger crowd on the weekend nights than movie theaters. (sad but sometimes true)

~ The biggest question of your youth was "IU or Purdue?" (for some people I know this to be true)

~ Indianapolis is the "big city".

~ "Getting caught by a train" is a legitimate excuse for being late to school. (I never tried this one personally, but I bet it would have)

~ People at your high school chewed tobacco.

~ You've been to the Covered Bridge Festival.

~ To you, a tenderloin is not an expensive cut of beef, but a big, salty, breaded piece of pork served on a bun with pickles.

~ Sometimes, you call the toilet the "commode" or the "stool". (I have never called a toilet these names, but I have heard them called as such)

~ In the fall, one of your favorite pranks was corning cars. (I was always afraid I would get caught, but my friends did)

~ You know what FFA and 4H stand for. (yes, and I was actually surprised when I met people who had no clue what 4H is, I thought everyone knew, guess not!)

~ You can say "French Lick" without laughing out loud. (come on people get your mind out of the gutter, it is a city)

~ There's actually a college near you named "Ball State." (yeppers, I actually thought about going there too!)

~ The last "g" is silent in any word ending in "ing." (hehehe, I am guilty of this myself, sometimes)

~You think the state Bird is Larry.

~You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Indiana. (hehehe, defianltly guilty of this)

These were the ones I enjoyed, there were a couple more, that I either didn't get, or didn't find funny, or really didn't think applied! Hope you all enjoyed!
