I'm at the Thompson Free Library right now, with 15 minutes left to use this computer.
Camp's been pretty nice, although quite lonely since Aunt Sue and Kate left. Now it's just Mom, Bill and I. Dev says he might come up on Thursday, but who knows. It seems doubtful without Mike being up next door.
Yesterday the three of us drove over to Peaks-Kenny State Park and hiked one of their trails. It didn't loop around, but that was okay. Five and a half miles altogether, not very tough at all, and really not as scenic as I was hoping, but again, I was fine with it. I was just so glad to hike again, especially since we didn't get to Borestone this summer. I took the lead through the trail and basically set my own pace, stopping to wait for them when I could no longer hear their voices or footsteps, and then taking off again as soon as they got closer and Mom made eye-contact with me. The weather was gorgeous, too. It was somewhere in the 80s (finally!), with the sunlight filtering down through the leaves, and enough of a breeze to keep a fair amount of the bugs away, although I still ended up with a good share of bites on my legs. I'm so glad we went.
Today was quite a bit chillier, but luckily the clouds blew over and we ended up with some nice sunshine and warmer weather. The temperature was about 20 degrees cooler today - yikes. We went up to Greenville with the dog and did some shopping. I got two pairs of much needed jeans, yayy. Now I just need to bug Mom to hem one of them for me before I go back to school.
Speaking of school, I'm ready to go back, but I'm not. I'm still kind of nervous about the RA thing. Well, okay not really. Not when I think about what it's actually going to be like. Having a single will be weird, I'm sure. I do miss CSC people, though. It'll be nice to see the Windy Hill kids again, too.
Five minutes left.
I finished Breaking Dawn two nights ago. I think I liked it the least out of the four in the series, although she did tie it up nice enough. I'm sick of that saga now. Luckily I checked out a book from here last week, and I still have all of this week to finish it. Since I'm a tool, I got the freshmen orientation book. Oh well, I like it.
I miss Henry. Sinda is not a good snuggle replacement.
Hm, I guess I'm running out of stuff to say. I've been writing in my diary/journal thing a bit, so I guess I'll attribute it to that. Yeah, I know I'm cool. Alright, I'm getting antsy about the time thing. Guess I'll go walk down to the bookstore. Take care, todos.
