They're so similar but so different, aren't they? Their dynamics intrigue me a lot ^^ One of my favourite pairings~ <3

Chanyeol, as I imagined him here, was really torn between his immediate attraction to Tao but also his annoyance with him which came from the way they always clashed (like when they disagreed about something, one would always say the wrong thing, so their fights would escalate) and from the way he felt unfairly treated by Tao (Chanyeol was really jealous of Suho, he wanted to be the one Tao opens up to and asks for advice). He didn't know how to approach Tao, for example he knew that Tao was scared of the dark and sometimes had nightmares, he wanted Tao to come to him and ask to be held and/or share the bed, but somehow he never offered, you know? So he had this growing frustration with himself, as well. And when he realized how much he wanted Tao but how far they were from having a good relationship, he sort of... ran away? He thought giving them space would be a good idea.

As for the ex, I had someone in mind but it's up to the reader to decide who it is in their imagination~
