[PCD flickers on, Alucard is taking a night stroll through the city. The occasional BANG of a gunshot is heard as he takes out an offending creature of the wastes wnadering into the city before moving on.

He pauses in step as he hears someone nearby.]

[ooc: Um..ya, back from convention, needs plots or something with him, poke him if you dare.]

Purely out of years of trained reflex, Jean's own weapon was pulled from the back of his pants and he pointed it right back at his assailant the moment he reached for it. He knew full well from poor Hawkeye that they did nothing, that bullets were worthless against things like Alucard... but he wasn't going to not defend himself after hearing that.

Jean was afraid to explain, if he explained then would that spur another encounter of the same kind? He was surprised when the name Aizen came up. The sting of being betrayed wasn't easy to take from someone who he had opened his home up to and lived down the street from, "Aizen's no friend'a mine.. not no more." he drew in a few breaths. Nervous breaths.

"..I thought y'were lyin' when y'first said y'wanted t'feed on human blood. Thought it may be some sorta weird-o fetish. I was takin' care of a full house'a people, some pets that were injured. Y'said there'd be no problem takin' down a large animal and that'd feed my household for quite some time- it did, too." He paused, slowly bringing his gun down, to see if Alucard would do the same, but not taking it directly off him, "Get it now?"

Alucard was still for what seemed a long while before putting his weapon away. The sound of betrayal in the man's voice clear that he was no closer to Aizen than Unohana was anymore.

"Hawkeye, Matsumoto...and now you." he grunted "Must have been desperate for blood if it came down to you as well." He adjusted his glasses.

Jean stayed just as stone statue, waiting to react as appropriately as he could against something he couldn't possibly beat even if he tried for a thousand years. He slowly put his weapon away in the back of his pants again, making sure to keep his hands close but not close enough to (Hopefully) make Alucard antsy about it.

Hearing him recount two of the most important women in his life as no more than juice-boxes left a terrible taste in his mouth , no pun, "I guess so.. Guess y'didn't have much choice, I got no clue. ...Y'gonna let me leave now? I ain't no more threat t'ya then a kitten, just gonna be on my way."
