166 - Do you believe in ghosts?

Of course I do. My mother raised me on it. I know it sounds like typical Scottish lore, but it's pretty much the truth.

Okay, so here's the real deal. Yes, I believe in ghosts because I've talked with them. Well, one to be specific. Fitz. I was shot, and when I woke up, there was Fitz, smiling like the smug, lovable bastard that he always was. He told me some nonsense about showing me the world without me in it.

I know. You're all thinking, "It's a Wonderful Life", right? Well, that was pretty much it, to my surprise.

I saw that Tessa was in a loveless marriage... yes, she was alive because she'd never met me, but the question remained -- was it better? Better to have lived and loved or not to have loved at all?

Richie became Immortal, but also worked for Methos Adam, and he wasn't the Richie I knew. Hell, Adam wasn't the man I knew, either. Kronos was still alive and re-forming the Horsemen, Horton had twisted the Watchers into the Hunters, Joe was a drunken bum, and Amanda...

I got the point of the trip down memory lane. But the fact that Fitz was there with me the whole journey, showing everything to me including how he would have died back in 1720 when I knew for a fact that he was already dead...? Fitz, who claimed he was my guardian angel, which, if you knew him? You'd laugh at that.

So the answer is yes, I do. I just don't think they're all that terrible like most people think.
