162 - "I never thought I'd say this, but..."
Sometimes, I hate being roommates with Athos.
Let me describe a typical morning to you. I'm waking up early, ready to get some tai-chi in before hitting the shower and opening up Undiscovered. The problem is, I'm a guy. We all wake up exactly the same way, every single morning... well, unless we had company in our bed that night in which case God, I hope we don't. So anyway, yes. Morning wood hits. You gotta take care of it, right? Wrong. Athos' bedroom is next to mine and frankly I'm not that quiet. Shower, right? Okay, so I leave my bedroom and run to the shower to take care of "things", except he's left his socks all over the place and I'm in no mood to clean up after him. (Have you seen his clothes? I need to take him shopping for something modern.) My brain isn't working because all the blood has left it and is occupying a different part of my body, so I think, "kitchen!" No. I find that he's in the damn kitchen, cooking, because the man loves to cook.
Personally, I think he knows exactly what the problem is by now, which is why he's in the kitchen cooking so I'll be forced to go somewhere else. The smart thing would be to go back to my own bedroom, but whoever said I was smart? So I go downstairs to the second floor, only to remember that I locked it and the keys are back upstairs. Fine. Back upstairs I go, and Athos is trying to hand me eggs sunny-side-up which remind me of breasts at this point because again, my brain is. Not. Working. I finally remember that my bedroom is empty and figure to hell with being quiet, so I run in, slam the door after me, take care of things before it becomes so painful that I can't, then shower and dress. At which point, my whole schedule of working out and opening up shop is ruined, I might add, thanks to a certain Musketeer holding a plate of cold eggs with a smirk on his face.
And you people honestly believed that we were gay? What the hell?
Damn. I need to put a picture of Athos on my punching bag, I think...
