Icon Meme
So... back in early December I decided I had time to do a couple of meme's and asked narniacmr for a couple of icons at her own icon meme. Well, obviously I didn't have the time I thought I had...
But, it's high time I actually answer that meme. Since I only have 6 user pics here, I offered to let her take her picks from Insanejournal where I have several hundred of userpics (though I'm not sure if I actually warned about that :D )
Anyway, on to the meme :D

I really love the crop as it leaves the shock/surprise visible on Roses face while at the same time hiding *any* kind of hint at what could have caused it. This is even further enhanced by the negative space on top which makes it even look as if Rose was falling right out of the icon.

It's Morgana. That alone is a reason to use it :)
But really: Once again, I love the crop. It shows off how elegant she is with her posture while also giving her an air of innocence - at least in my eyes. Not to mention that the colouring is really fitting.

Sadly, there's not much I can say about this icon. I think I have it because it's one of the first icons I made of Arthur and I have this habit of using mostly my own icons. So, naturally, it had to be used :) Also, I dare say it's still in there because I love the lightning effect/texture I used.

This is one of my favourites of the icons I made for botanicalstills. I tried to apply a little starry thing I've seen on quite a few icons and although I didn't manage what I intended, I think I outdid myself instead as I just love the crop and colouring and how it just works with the swirly lines. Just looking at it makes me thoughtful and peaceful and all kinds of other things :)

This one is love. The crop is perfect and also it's from a happy moment in time for Padmé and Anakin, I think the way she's looking down also reflects the troubled end. It's as if she's thinking, "This is what I want, even if the outcome will be beyond bad".
She's reflecting the decision she's making and how dangerous it is, at the same time it's showing such a huge amount of innocence -- and I think I'm starting to interpret way more into it then I usually do.
To sum it up - her posture makes me think that she knows how it'll end for her, as if she knows the future and at the same time, she's the bride waiting to start something new and happy.
