free webspace, star trek and icons
So, I've been avoiding this for a while now... and kicking myself in the but for it since I saw a notice about converting my address to a new webspace for free and can't find it again.
Anyway, does anybody know where I can get free webspace where I can move my website to in light of geocities closing? I'm two minded about moving now since I haven't updated in a long while due to re-coding everything, but I've wondered if I should just move now and simply upload a point me on the geocities one so anybody who's got that page bookmarked knows where to go to. (Not that I think a whole lot of people actually viewed my webpage as it was so horribly far behind in updates)

In other news, I watched Star Trek last weekend with eadem_domo and I was high on it for so long. It was simply brilliant from start to finish (although I'm a bit irked from Kirk getting the rank Captain without even really graduating - officially graduating that is since being promoted to Captain can be seen as graduating). I'll eventually (re-)watch the classic series. I mostly remember the movies and vaguely the series from watching re-runs with my parents.

I'm half-tempted to post all the icons I have ready to post in one go... Only that would be *at least* 5 posts, most likely 6 (depending on how I spread the fandoms with fewer icons). Serves me well for going a month with no icon post with plenty of challenges... and the couple of even older icons I made just like that. I know I shouldn't just spam my f-list with that many posts in one day. I also know that if I try to spread it over 2 or 3 days that I'll forget to post the rest for at least a week. A week in which I won't advertise the other posts, as it's easier to simply advertise all of them at once (and keeps me from spamming all those icon communities)
Well, I still have a couple of cropped Merlin images I didn't get to finish on the train yesterday. I'll start with finishing those and making a couple of more icontest icons due on various days this week... not to mention preparing for my consultation in regards to my Bachelor thesis and defending my practical semester (3-5 minutes talking about it -- +/- 1 minute or I won't pass -- whoever came up with that ridiculous idea?)

Lastly, I'm sorry about lack of comments lately... not that I'm commenting a lot, but it's certainly decreased to next to nothing these couple of weeks, but first I was busy with rl and now that that huge project for university is over, I'm having trouble getting back into the habit. Nonetheless, I'm still reading the posts - just rarely in a state of mind where I can even think of things I could respond with (and if it's just a hug - my minds too blown away for even that)
